New LinkId with "SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise" database type. Did anybody have such experience?

In PAS tool, when creating a new LinkId, in the drop-down choice with database types there is an option to choose "SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise". What does it mean to have such a source?

If I choose this option, will I be able to refer to SAP BusinessObjects universe objects? Or how this is different from typical dabase as source?
