Posting date check for Process order Goods Movements

Hi;

Is it possible to block postings for process orders based on specific posting dates?

We make use of monthly Process orders. The idea is to ensure that posting date (BUDAT) for all movements (E.g. 101, 261, 531 etc) fall within range of Process order Start (GSTRP) & End date (GLTRP).

Can this ONLY be achieved by user exit?

If so, which one can we use?

Kind regards

    Hi

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

    We decided to use user-exit: EXIT_SAPMM07M_001 include: ZXMBCU02.

    We also created a Z "control" table which enabled us to easily add/remove control parameters i.e. Order types, movement types etc.

    This satisfied our requirement 100%

    Regards

    Werner,

    Check below BADI with your technical team they may be useful to you.

    WORKORDER_CONFIRM and WORKORDER_UPDATE please note I never tested these for your above requirement but these BADIs can be used for many purposes.

    Check below exit also if above does not suit you PPCO0007 Exit when saving production order
