Setup server configuration files

Hi

I am using SAp 7.20 with an environment variable configured. I would like to do a update to SAP 7.30 using server configuration files.

I am using a script On installation end and on update and for setup server configuration files.

When updated is finished I saw the message below in server configuration files option. "Server configuration settings are not supported because saplogon.ini is set by environment variable or command line parameter."

When I running a first installation using a clean machine my script works well and I can use server configuration file.

can you help me?

Hope you are doing good.
Nice to hear from you again.

Such issues are due to server configuration cache. Please uncheck the cache option in SAPGUI configuration option interface.

Hi Hemanth

Thank you for your help.

It doesn't work.

1- when I use script in "on install and" it works well when I install first time.

2- when I use the same script with " on update end" seems it does not work.

I remove environment variable and confige files manually and I started the update and When update finished I am not be able to see any changes.

I think that " on update end" script was not applied.

I am tried also include in my script to delete environment variable registrykey but doesn't work also.
