HANA Studio - adding system

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to connect a SAP system to the HANA Studio in Eclipse, but I get an connection error. Accessing the system via the SAP logon works... I use the Mars version, and I did all the latest software updates.

what can be the problem?

Hi Andy,

the sapcontrol request to port 5xx13 (sapstartsrv, in your case 00 => 50013) failed. Are you sure that the HANA DB is running on your localhost?

You provided SID: JN1, server: localhost, instance number: 00; single DB

Check your input values, if all services of the DB are up and running and if there is no connection issue (firewall, network routing, etc.) between your client and the server.
