Hi,
Please help me to understand the logic of ‘scheduled for delivery ‘ filed in SAP. The value in scheduled for delivery is only for information or is this the stock deducted from unrestricted stock. Below the scenario
Stock in unrestricted location -5000
Scheduled for delivery -1000.
So the stock in unrestricted should be 5000 or 5000-1000=4000?
Thanks to confirm.
Thanks,
VIjesh
Hello Vijesh,
Its for information only. as per your example stock will be 5000 in unstr stock.

I am not getting you so let me rephrase my reply.
Unrestricted Stock and schd for del both are independent .
1.Suppose Unstr Stock 5000
2. created SO >>no effect in stock overview.
3.created DO of 1000 and saved(without pgi) >> Now in Stock Overview 1000 will come for "Sche for Delv" but "Unrestricted Stock" will show 5000 now also(no deduction).
4.Do PGI >> stock 1000 will be removed from "Sche for Delv" and now will deducted from "Unrestricted Stock" so "Unrestricted Stock" = 4000 now only.
Regards,
Hi Vijesh,
We can see the different category of stock in MMBE. For example, Material 'A' has 1000 qty is in unrestricted and the same material is used in one header assembly. Let assume material 'A' need 1 qty to make 1 Header assembly. Now you have created production order for the assembly with 100 qty.You can see the qty 100 under reservation area but in unrestricted remain same as 1000 qty. For example, you can seen this difference value when you will do availability check(ATP) that time system will reduce the reservation/requirement from the main stock with respect to requirement date and you can able to use the only remaining qty. In MMBE, its an overview of stock value. Hope it may help you a bit.
Thanks
