Dear all
I installed " Full ABAP Edition (with Web Dynpro for ABAP!)" On Windows XP , Korean Edition.
My problem is
whenever i shutdown NSP from SAPMMC, the error message comes up related to <b>igspw.exe</b> .
I can get the following log files.
igspw.exe.mdmp
igspw.exe.hdmp
appcompat.txt
manifest.txt
but i can shutdown NSP successfully.
and i can access http://<hostname>:40080/ for <b>SAP Internet Graphics Server</b>.

In the web page,
Version 7000.0.0.0
Build Date Aug 29 2005
System Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 Build 2600
Configuration File Path C:usrsapNSPDVEBMGS00igsconfigs.xml
The furious thing is
there is no configuration file under Configuration File Path <b>C:\usr\sap\NSP\DVEBMGS00\igs\conf\</b> .
However i can see the parameters of IGS through RZ10.
I guess This IGS is called [Integrated IGS].
/thread/45998 [original link is broken]
humm.
i can't find it from <i>Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs</i>.
also it's not shown on the list of Services.
How can i solve this issue?

Hello,
I think this issue occurs because you are using patch 0 of the IGS. You can download the latest version of the IGS from the service marketplace. At the moment patch 5 is available. This should solve it.

I updated the kernel based on <a href="/people/thomas.jung/blog/2006/07/03/apply-support-packages-to-the-sdn-abap-as-sneak-preview' log</a> and this problem is gone.

You installed your system correctly. This problem is a (minor) error of the Sneak Preview which will be corrected in the next version. So it is an annoying side effect but nothing to be worried about.

I do have the same problem, though I have no solution for it yet. Just want to confirm you are not alone.

Frank
