Asset Accounting Issue

we have configured SAME ZSLM(Straight Line Depreciation) Dep Key for all Assets now there is one new Requirement have come from the client

1. If the machine or Vehicle has sent for Servicing for a week or 15 days than the depreciation must not calculate for this days
2. if the machine is working  on multiple shift so depending on the shift timings they need to calculate the dep

now can we use the same Dep key or we need to create separate keys

Hello Mohammed Abdul,

For point no. 1, change the asset master in AS02. For your depreciation area, assign a zero percent depreciation key (like 0000) from the date from which you don't want to calculate depreciation (select more intervals).

Then assign your normal depreciation key from the date you want to resume depreciation calculation.

For point no 2, it is possible to configure depreciation.Check this link:

For shift depreciation, you will have to use a separate key.
