Hi Guys,
If anybody suggest me i have a problem with logon, i checked oraarch and filesystems spaces.
And i opened DPMON at OS leve everything was fine.
When checked developer traces i found workprocess died?
What can i do?
Hi,
please check in sm50 or on OS level the "dpmon" log , wheher the work process in RUNNUNIG state. ( Even, if this is in RUNNUNIG state, it can have a problem (in some cases).)
Check what shows the time counter for this wp. If many seconds are shown, this indiactes, that the work process in hanging. It may happen, that the state in HOLD, and often a reason is given in sm50. e.g (RFC)
It is interesting as well. Only some wp's hava a problem or ALL wp's? Only Wp's from a particular Type, DIA/BATCH/UP....
When a work process is hanging, you can dispaly a C-Stack, in that case we have more information about the reason of hanging. You can do this, in Linux, running these commands after each other:
kill -USR2 <pid of hanging wp>
kill -USR1 <pid of hanging wp>
