Transport Error

Hello,

I transported from Dev to Quality were transported correctly next I transported to Prod , It giving error. The error message 8. The error message is shown below.Please let me know ur thoughts.

" Start of the after-import method for object type R3TR ELEM (Activation Mode)

Error when activating element 3YERB4QFQYUYQMYAA5QSN16W2

Element 3YERBWOOQVUTINQ3IK9H86IOY was copied from 'modified' to 'active'

Start of the after-import method for object type R3TR ELEM (Delete Mode)

Errors occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT for ELEM L

RS_AFTER_IMPORT belongs to package RS

Hi Taj,

That means that particular element is not present in the Production , I am guessing it might be some structure or something else which is required for the transport to be succesful.

What u have to do:

copy this 3YERB4QFQYUYQMYAA5QSN16W2 element and goto SE16

AND BRING UP THE TABLE RSZELTDIR and enter this element , u will get the description of that element then collect this element in the transport or send it independently ur prob will be solved

I checked the table RSZELTDIR and found the query name. The same one I transported to Prod before.

Do you think I need to check the box for which object I done the changes?. Pls correct me .

Have u checked this element because this is what is causing the error .

This element which has both modified and Active version.

What is this element we are talking abt.

Is it any structure or CKF or any variable.

My guess is that this is not available in PROD and this is required for the query or someother thing related to this element , can u post back what is this element.

Hey Majeed,

Your right . It is a structure element( cost center). I picked up this cost center (00002) and did changes in Dev and then transport to QA ,I checked in QA ,this cost center(00002) is missing. Anyhow I transportd to QA sucessfully. I saw the changes in the QA but when ran the query it gives waring " 00002 is not in hierarchy kkk001 for infoobject cost" . The data is empty in that rows.

I checked in production for this same cost center(00002) is available in production . Eventhough the transport is fail.

Thats another issue again , I dont see anything to do with the transport.

Anyhow check the authorisation or the check how it is assigned in the partciular info object.

As for its availability in the production that might be the older version of the structure.

I'm having the same issue. Did you make sure that you saved your structure with a technical name and not just leave it as "Key figures"?
