workflow issue

Whenever manager1 not approve after five days . that workitem escalate to next level manager 2

condition1: whenever escalation time reached that workitem removed current manager .. it will displayed in next level manager .

that situation next level manager has two approvals . i don't want two approvals. iam looking only one approval.
