Updating/Patching Guided Procedure

Hi all,

I'm currently using the GP version included in the NW 7.0 SP5 on my local machine. It works fine. However, there are couple of very annoying bugs which really impede our GP building efforts.

I'm not sure whether these bugs are already being addressed in the newer GP versions (or whether there are updates available at all).

Once I reported a bug in GP designtime couple of weeks ago. A developer sent me a .sca file which solved the problem. So obviously GP can be patched.

Now, where can I find any Guided Procedure updates/patches without having to reinstall a complete new milestone?

Hi,

You can find the sca's on the Service Market Place in the NW04s area. Try www.service.sap.com, under 'Quick Links' you find 'Software Download'. In the left area there's a tree structure, open 'Download'->'Support Packages and Patches' -> 'Entry by Application Group'. In the right area click on 'SAP NetWeaver' -> 'SAP NETWEAVER' -> 'SAP NETWEAVER 2004S' -> 'Entry by Component'. The sca for GP is called 'CAF EU 7.00' and can be found e.g. under 'Enterprise Portal (EP)'.

Some other components contain the CAF EU 7.00 SCA also, e.g. 'Developer Workplace'.
