Bar chart issue

Hi,

I am facing an issue with bar chart used in Webi report.

1. When I embed the values in chart, then the size of the bars get very thin, so I tried to increased the bar size by going to farmat chart -> Global -> region type -> Bars -> graphical attributes of bar -> override default settings -> Line width(7)

2. Now by doing the above option their is a gap created between the Axis and Bars in Barchart

So, is their any other way to increase bar size in chart and secondly how to reduce the gap between axis and bars in it (bar orientation should start from Axis itself)

Would be thankful for any help recieved in understanding the above issues.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Jaywant Kulkarni.

Hi,

I want to increase the Bar size in a Bar chart, the settings which I used is as per mentioned in my question - above post.

Now, bydefault the bar size is very thin coming in the chart, so I used region type option to increaase the bar size in Bar chart, as a result a gap was created between bar and X axis in chart, as shown in screenshot attached with this discussion.

So, now I need to reduce this gap and require help to do the same in it.

Would be thankful for any help recieved in solving the above issue.

Hi Jayawant,

If it is a bar chart then  there is no need to change region type to bars , because by default is is bar .

Changes you did is not applicable to get bar width .afaik , those changes not applicable to bars .

Your width of bars are dependent on your chart size .You can use 3D bars/2D with bar effects as Cylinder ..

It seems you have 2 or more measures feeding to your chart. It is better to have separate chart if their scale is different.you can use column chart with 2 Y-axes.
