Can we Download P&ID Metadata stored in SAP System

I'd like to know that is it possible to download Piping & Instrumentation Drawings Meta-data from SAP PM Module to any file format e.g. Excel, XML, etc. Kindly enlighten me about this functionality.

Hi Pete,

I am Intergraph Smartplant Consultant and we have requirement here to understand how a document and its metadata could be exported from SAP, and its format. As we need to migrate those docs from SAP to our tools such as SPF/SPO (SmartPlant Foundation Suite).

So I am pretty confused how to use SAP system in this regard. Any help would be appreciated.

As you can appreciate - SAP is a big system and documents can be stored in SAP in many ways.

So we cannot really comment until we know how/where the data is stored in  SAP.

Sure Pete, I do understand the depth of SAP as an ERP. I'll definitely come up with more information by tomorrow in relation to the query to make things quite clear.
