Dear Experts,
Am really finding difficult to get the exact information on the LDAP users to get sync with my SAP ABAP Stack.
I followed the below steps but still looking for some more information to complete the activity.
I was able to login and connector is coming in green status. However i need to proceed with the mapping now. I was not able to see any entries in the mapping.
we are using Active directory 2008 however that option is not showing in the report RSLDAPSCHEMAEXT parameter screen. Is it enough if we select active directory 2003 in the parameter list?
We executed the report RSLDAPSCHEMAEXT with active directory 2003 and then imported the XML in LDAPMAP but the LDAPMAP is showing empty also it is getting dump XML format error while importing the the XML file. Or else do we need to generate the XML file from the LDAP using the LDIFDE command which we use to connect the JAVA UME to LDAP.
Am not sure whether am following the exact procedure. Please assist the exact steps if possible.

Raja. G
Hi Raja,
if you are in transaction LDAP go to LDAP-Servers->
Check if your "Product Name" is set to Active Directory 2003.
Then select your Server and click "mapping".
Now you are in Mapping Overview.
Click "Utilites(M)" and select "import proposal".
This willl create the standard mapping for Active directory.
You do not need to import the XML.
Double check the "Synchronization".
Now you are "finished" on SAP Side.
Now start report RSLDAPSYNC_USER and try to sync a specific user.
If you want to be able to have all of the SAP fields in AD you need a schema extend. The you can maintain you groups in AD.
Regards
Manuel
