Agentry - Deploy an app to a remote development server

I'm hoping the solution for this is simple, I am developing an Agentry app in the Eclipse IDE on my Windows machine with the Agentry Toolkit plugin but I need to deploy the app to an SMP 3.0 (SP04) server running on a remote server. The security team in this organization has the machines locked down pretty tight. Is there a way to specify the SMP server without mapping it as a network drive on my development PC? The Publish Application to Server wizard seems to only work with a path to the application in the server's configuration directory.

I know there is an option in the SMP Management cockpit to publish an Agentry app (on the App Specific Settings tab), but it doesn't recognize the exported Agentry app (.agxz file) as a valid app. Is there another way to export an Agentry app from within Eclipse?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave,

If you have no network path between the development server and Agentry Editor, Can you install an Editor on the Server machine then inport your Agentry.agxz file and publish.

A different option would to do a Production Publish and that this would create a zip file and then this file can be uploaded to the SMP Server.

Thank you Stephen, Installing the Eclipse IDE with the Agentry Editor on the server, though not ideal, does solve the problem.

I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't some other way to specify the server without using a network path.
