Find maintenance cost for a group of functional locations

I was asked to find what was the maintenance cost and hours spent on preventive and corrective maintenance. The report should include part cost, and hours spent. For the expert out there how can I find out once I know the F/L, and closed work orders?

Thank you.

    Edgar,

IW39 will give you the total actual cost by functional location/order. You simply need to group/total the columns.

You could also use the MCI8 Cost Analysis report.

Alternatively, have a look a table S115 which holds the data for MCI8. NOTE: if you are using alternate labeling, then you will need to join S115 to IFLOS, possibly via SQVI, SE16H or SQ01/2.

Pete, I surely could get the cost. Now, since we are not yet posting labor cost, is there a way I can get the total hours spent on the maintenance activities, corrective and preventive. So, we can use an average cost/hour and then use it to have a general figure.

Thank you as always for your help.

    Edgar,

IW47 Confirmation List will give you the total actual hours for FLoc.

I'm using IW39 for F/L with WO Completed, it gives me the parts cost which is not in IW47. When I use IW47 I got more WO than with IW39 even when I'm applying the same conditions, same FL and same time range. Any help?

IW47 is for order operations, so you will have more rows than IW39.

Did you look at table S115?

    Pete:

You are right, IW47 list all operations in a PM. How can I use S115?

It looks like I don't have authorization to SE16. I had it, so, I'll request it again.

    What about SQVI, SE16H or SQ01/2 ?
