NetWeaver Gateway - Network Connection Error

Hello Community,

We have to do the Tutorial  

We have some problems with point 2. "Connection SAP NetWeaver Gateway Productivity Accelerator to SAP NetWeaver Gateway". We don't get a Connection to the Gateway. If we use the given Parameters, we get a Network connection error.

So we tried to use the URL. This works.

But then we don't get any service to chose.

We searched a long time, but we haven't found the solution for this problem.

Can anybody please help us?

Are you able to run this URL in a browser by providing username and password?

https://sapes1.sapdevcenter.com/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/RMTSAMPLEFLIGHT/

If it works, are you passing the same credentials in eclipse while creating a connection?

Hello Jitendra,

I already tried this URL, by providing my username and password. But the credentials arent accepted. I also tried, to register my credentials with this url: https://supsignformssapicl.hana.ondemand.com/SUPSignForms/ but this lead to following Error Page:

Just FYI

The SAP Gateway ES1 system is end-of-life.  Please use the new SAP Gateway ES4 system.

Now got it. That means your account hasn't created at demo system yet. FYI, i am seeing that new users are facing similar issues while registration.

You should reach out to devcenter@sap.com for more clarification on this.

did you try with Gateway trial system? Did it work for you?

Can you also check if you have to set any proxy Windows>preferences>Network Connections>

Active Provider>Manual

HTTP

HTTPS

Hello jitendra kansal,

first of all thank you for your fast answer.

Unfortunately it doesn't work either.

We don't have any Proxy so we think we don't have to set any proxy settings.

If we check the HTTPS Checkbox we get the Error: "Unauthorized due to missing or incorrect credentials"

If we don't check the HTTPS Checkbox we get the Error: "Network Connection Error"

Can you try telneting this demo system?

cmd> telnet sapes1.sapdevcenter.com 443

Any blank screen? (means it is reaching from your system)

Can you also look at these discussions

Note: I request you to install SAP Mobile Platform Tools in eclipse kepler for any connection under service catalog.

Hello Jitendra,

we tried to connect - cmd> telnet sapes1.sapdevcenter.com 443 - it worked.

With Eclipse we didn't reach the demo system.

Can you reach the Services explained in the Tutorial. Like shown in the Picture below?

Maybe the services doesn't work right.
