P&F how does a process status became "completed"??

Hi All,

i'm working with P&F in HR Renewal world and i'm getting trouble to get the status of a process as "Terminate".

If i complete the process with "Send" button, the status doesn't change from "In process" to "Terminate" and i don't know why it happens.

I already handle the "Draft" behavior with a custom WF ( copy of the standard one WS33700033 with few changes) and in this case all working fine but if i complete directly a process without passing by "draft" actions the status is always "In process".

Any help?

Thanks in advace.

Is this a process with workflow attached? If so, once the workflow ends/terminates during its normal course/flow, the process status should be "complete".

When you say "if I complete the process with 'send' button, the status doesn't change"....the two are not necessarily correlated. There might be additional steps (in process and workflow) after this. "Send" is just for completing the current step the processor is doing.

Also, check your configuration as well...you can assign custom "business statuses" to your process steps. You might have some there. Also, in workflow, check your binding for the task (process/edit or approve)....there is a binding for "&BUSINESS_STATUS&" that can be set. These correspond to setting in the IMG (SPRO) you can find under "HR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES" in the "Maintain Business Status" in Process Configuration area.

Hi Salomon,

First of all i thank you so much for your reply, but i solved my issue with the BAPI BAPI_CASE_CHANGEATTRIBUTES () .

I have already attacched a WF to my form but only adding a step calling the BAPI i could change the status of my process as "Terminate". This BAPI can change any attributes of T5ASRPROCESSES table and so the "Status" field as well.

After this implementation all completed processes will be shown in HR Renewal lane "PROCESSES" as "Terminate".
