Hi everyone,
I have done solman_setup on Solution Manager 7.1 , and now i am trying to use maintenance optimizer. When I start new Maintenance transaction and enter solution, product version and production system and then click continue I get en error "You are not authorized to perform the activity selected last".... I searched for solution, checked authorization for solman_admin, but nothing seems to work... Could anyone give me advice on this?
Thank you all!
I resolved issue by assigning sap_all profile to solman_admin It looks that authorization was the issue...

1. I checked my s-user, and it has the required authorizations.
2. s-user and solman_admin are in AISUSER table
3. oss connection is working properly..
4. The only thing I am not sure are roles I assigned to solman_admin.. How can I check if roles are assigned properly...
I assigned
SAP_MAINT_OPT_ADMIN
SAP_MAINT_OPT_ADD
SAP_SMWORK_BASIC
SAP_SMWORK_CHANGE_MAN

Hi Zeljko,
You could use System Trace (ST01) or SU53 to check if you have any problem with the authorizations.
1st - find the suser ID that have the required authorizations.
2nd - goto AISUSER and assign this suser to the user(eg userX) used to generated xml from mopz.
3rd - assign R3 roles required to userX for MOPZ.
that's it..
BTW make sure saposs is working.

Check your OSS RFC connection and OSS1 connection settings are maintained properly or not.

Hi Zeljko,
Which authorizations/roles have you assigned for MOPZ?
Another thing you could check (if not yet) is the S-user authorizations in SMP backend.
The S-user must have "Order Software in Software Catalog" authorization.
