SDA connection to Oracle 12c

Hi all,

Firstly, I am assuming that I am making a basic mistake so I do not mind being flamed. Secondly (with the same rider) I know that this has
been reported before and the respondents have reported the matter as being fixed.

So the error is:

SAP
DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: Cannot get remote source objects:
[SAP][ODBC Driver Manager] Unable to load driver /usr/sap/L01/home/ODBC/instantclient_12_1/libsqora.so.12.1

This occurs when I try and test a data source connection from HANA Studio (82 on UBUNTU) I am using the SYSTEM user.

I am connecting to an Oracle12c instance on SLES.

Just FYI:

  • SQLPLUS works from the client (HANA/SLES box to
    Oracle)
  • ISQL works from the client (HANA /SLES box to
    Oracle)
  • I have (hopefully) done all the things I found
on the internet such as creating a .customer.sh file and all the relevant
    changes to hdbenv.sh

The problem must surely be with the access to the driver file from Studio.

Any help appreciated.

Regards

John
