Inactive BP Role-CRM000 has added to Business Partner

Hi All,

Business Partners are downloaded from ECC to CRM.

For some Business Partners a new BP role -CRM000(which is made as "HIDE" in the configuration) has added.

Not sure how this role has been added to the existing Business Partners.

And when opening those BP's(through tcode: BP) a pop up is coming up asking to select a view.

Any one explain why the Hided BP Role has added to the Business Partner.

That's the standard behaviour, customer replicated from ECC are created in CRM with the BP Role CRM000.

Hi Luis,

But that role(CRM000) not being used in our system. And the specified BP's download was happened very long back without that role(CRM000). Very recently this new role(CRM000-which is hide in configuration) got added to some of Business partners.

I don't know why your system behaves that way, but what I can say is ecc customer is automatically mapped to CRM000, and doesn't check if the CRM000 is enabled or disabled in CRM,  maybe you have some code which changes this behaviour,  did you check the inbound events on the table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU? or maybe in a BADI...

Hi Luis,

If it has having any Custom BADI implemented then it should have happen for all the Business Partners right.. But the additional role(CRM000) has been added to some of the Business partners only.

And this happened very recently ....

depends, it's quite difficult to know without access to your system, there's no rocket science in your scenario, but I surely would try first to find custom developments, check the table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU if there's any custom FM on the bupa inbound.
