error in phase PREP_INIT/CHECKPROF_INI Invalid replication configuration: Profile parameters DIR_CT_RUN and DIR_EXECUTABLE point to same location ‘/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run’

Hi Gurus,

We are proceeding with the SAP EHP6 Upgrade on our test system <SID> from the level EHP2, Now we are struck up with an issue in the phase “PREP_INIT/CHECKPROF_INI” with error stating “Invalid replication configuration: Profile parameters DIR_CT_RUN and DIR_EXECUTABLE point to same location ‘/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run’.

We have followed the sap note 1104735 and made sure to be the same values are available in both the instance and start profile.

We tried with the both the ways as follows:

DIR_CT_RUN                                    $(DIR_EXE_ROOT)/run; /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run

DIR_EXECUTABLE                            $(DIR_INSTANCE)/exe; /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS42/exe

Also verified at the operating system level as well when we changed the values. Please find the necessary attached document for your reference and as well the logs attached.

Your quick support will be greatly appreciated, as we are struck up with the upgrade and we cannot continue with production until unless we succeed in the HRX upgrade.
