Crystal Reports not seeing published RDB connection

Hi,

We are just starting out with Crystal Server 2013. Logging in as Administrator, I have successfully set up set up a local connection in a local project per section 16.3 of info design guide (using the connection wizard). I do a "Test Connection" and that all works. Then I right-click and select "Publish Connection to Repository" and save it under the "Connections" folder in the repo. That succeeds, so far so good.

But when I launch Crystal Reports and try to select a connection from the server "Repository" folder my connection it is not there. The only thing I see when I open up the Repo folder from CR designer is the sample connection (Dynamic Cascading Reports folder that came with the server product.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong and why I can't see any published connections from crystal reports. Any advice or direction on this will be greatly appreciated!
