How to open a application in Design Studio

Friends,

I am new to Design Studio. I need help in opening Design Studio applications saved in SAP BW. I am unable to open the applications in Design Studio client  from SAP BW. Can anyone please help me ?

Tools -> Preferences -> Preferred Startup Mode -> SAP NetWeaver -> Restart Design Studio

Sign into the new SAP system sign-on prompt.

Application -> Open... -> Now you will see content on your SAP BW System.

Note, you will have to have some authorizations which are explained in the Admin Guide, if your Security team has not already set that up.

Hello Michael,

These applications are created by another user and saved in SAP BW. When I do restart as advised by you design studio is restarted but it does not ask for any logon prompts .

Do you have SAPLOGON.ini files on your machine in the normal spots?  Also please again confirm you have this;

If so, you should get a prompt like this:

If you don't, something is wrong.  Try renaming your Analysis-config folder in your user home directory on your workstation and try setting this again.  If that still does not work, you could reinstall Design Studio.

What kind of errors do you get?
