Cannot change Governance Scope of attributes

Hello Experts,

I need to change the governance scope of an attribute REPRF of Entity BP_COMPNY.

I am doing this by using customizing activity (in MDGIMG) : Master Data Governance -> General Settings -> Process Modelling -> Define Governance Scope.

When I change the 'Governed' column from Yes to No and then save then a message comes at the bottom the screen and does not saves.

Please find screenshots below:

Please share solution for this if anyone knows.

Thanks,

Swati Verma

Hi Abdullah,

When I change Governance from "Yes" to "No", then below screen (message at the bottom):

After this when I click on Save button, then below screen (message at the bottom):

What action I need to take here?

The outcome I want is to make attribute REPRF as non editable on MDG UI.

Hello Swati,

This is a standard issue. Please raise an OSS incident. In the meanwhile you could try the following workaround.

After changing the governance scope settings , click on Data models folder

Then , click on Back button. You would get a confirmation pop up. Click on Yes and provide a transport

The setting gets changed

I did not understand "ECC Customization:.

In MDG Data Model this attribute is NOT Key Field and NOT Required.

Please let me know where it is required field.
