MIGO - mat doc determined different GL accounts INV, VBR

Hi guys.

Normally, during month end, when users perform MIGO, the GL accounts in the material doc (for posting to Inventory Gain/Loss) are based on GBB INV in OBYC. This time around, the system assigned GL accounts in GBB VBR.

Anyone who knows what caused such behavior in the system and how to correct this? I compared the mat docs from last monthend with this month end and the docs are same in terms of company, mvt type, etc. Anywhere I can check why the system assigned a different GL account?

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Rey

You can check OMWN. Here, movement type will be assigned to account modifier with regards to the transaction key.

This account modifier will be same as OBYC valuation modifier.

Also have a look into the document for more details

Thanks for the reply, Dibyendu Patra.

I checked and the movement type is pointing to GBB VBR. But since table logging is disabled, we don't know if it was changed. This happened only this month, according to user. Previous months, the mat docs are assigning GL accounts for variance, and not usage accounts.

Yes. To see the changes log, it needs to enable the log changes data for the table T156X.

In standard, it is only possible with regards to movement type. Only movement type contains the account modifier for the accounting entry.

Otherwise only possible with any development or enhancement.
