Cross Reporting in Simple Maintaince

Hello All,

I have created one position HR coordinator and assigned relationship - direct reporting to HR manager now i want to maintain another relationship where hr coordinator also reports to Managing Director of the company. I gor the result through expert mode but i want to try assigning directly in simple maintenance screen. Please guide on same.

As far i understand you can not maintain that relationship with subordinate option i.e you can not assign 2 reporting officers for HR coordinator but you can show it in simple maintenance with relationship B002 line supervisor of

HR manager - Line supervisor of B002 HR coordinator

Managing Director - Line supervisor of B002 HR coordinator  this is top to bottom relationship you can use the option elevate to do that.

If not the case you have to go for Matrix Organization method it works as you are expecting.

Hi,

For Simple understanding:

Simple maintenance - for bulk entries using at simple structures/simple reporting like only one person reports to only one person.

Expert mode- for more and more in detailed, using infotypes, more relations/reporting and need to assign more using infotypes & Subtypes
