fetching data from ERP to BW

Dear All,

we have generic data source which extracts data from ERP, two weeks ago it was working fine. but this week the PSA request is showing yellow for 2/3 days we have tried many things like checking the RFC connection between the two system which is active & working fine. please look at the below screenshot and help me.

Hi,

At source side, can you do test run at RSA3 and see it.

Please check your info pack ecc job log details.

go to your info pack monitor, Menu environment-->job overview--> job in the source system,

enter ecc user id and password. You will get your job, select job and click opn log detais icon,.

See the exact error what job logs says.

Rest of the data sources are pulling data form ERP?

if yes then no issues of RFCs.

thank you for your swift replay, the status on the monitory admin has changed for your info see below:

as you recommended i have tested the data source using tcode RSA3 and be able to display the data( we have 145 total records for the case of the above error)

and i have seen the log in ECC and there is no problem for your info you can see the log below:

for your question: Rest of the data sources are pulling data form ERP? we could't be able to extract data from ecc using any data source

your help is greatly appreciated

Hi,

Please check error in BW system using ST22.

or Monitor->Environment->Short Dump->In the Data Warehouse.

Hi Dem,

From your logs we can say there is no issue at source side.

problem at BW side only.

All records sent to bw from ECC. But not received.

that means BW ports are not configured properly.

please ask basis to team check RFC configurations at SM59,

partner profiles at WE05 and WE20.

Tables - RSLOGSYSMAP and RSLOGSYSDEST.

above tables need to have source and target entries properly.

From BW rsa1-->source syste-->test connection and check it.

its basis probelm, they need to rectify it. please inform them.
