Hi,
I am not technical IT savvy person however I need to change the configuration of our current BPC MS 7.5 DEV environment for the OLAP server and DB server. The server is based on cloning image and set up in new environment. However the OLAP and DB server still pointing at MYHQ308 whereas it should be pointing to new server of MYHQ312S (refer to enclosed screensshot). How can I update it to point to new server of MYHQ312S from current MYHQ308S.

Hi,
it seems it isn't possible cloning an environment without issues, see please http://scn.sap.com/thread/3465467.
You have to use standard backup / restore to obtain the copy of the environment.

Hi,
I guess that explain why I cannot change the configuration as what my server team is cloning from existing server.

Hi Kheirudin,
parameters should be changed in server options of bpc server manager but better to ask to your basis.
Please remember also to close the threads when the issues are solved, assigning "correct answer" and eventually "helpful asnwers" this help other users with same issue.

Hi,
I would agree with Akim, this is not something you can do in the BPC admin console. If anywhere, you will need the BPC Server Manager.

I'd strongly advise to get your IT (DBA) involved.
