Hi All
We're experiencing strange behaviour on our PI 7.4 SP5 dual-stack production (unfortunately) system.
Upon adding a certificate into STRUSTSSO2, the ABAP stack loses contact with the Java stack, causing connections to fail and the system to become unusable. At this point a reboot brings up the ABAP stack okay, but we get:
ERROR => Java node 'server0' terminated with exit code 2150
in the dev_server0 file and the Java stack does not start. At this point the only way (that I've been able to discover) to get the system back is to restore the /usr/sap/SID/D*/sec/*.pse files and do a database restore (which thankfully, being PI, does not take a long time).
This has happened twice now and the only things that I can think of that are consistent with both times are that
1) I've put a certificate in
2) the system has been under reasonably heavy load
Er, anyone experienced this? Is restarting the ICM a bit flaky in a busy system? Memory issues? Where would the problem lie?
The only thing I can think of trying is to reboot the system, put the certificate in (when nothing else is happening on the system), then maybe bounce the system again...
Cheers, Chris
Just to round this off: putting the certificate in when the system was quiet worked. Upon further investigation, looks like the system is underpowered in terms of memory and swap, so that is likely the issue.
