Dear Friends,
After refresh system ERP QAS, I execute R3trans -d and get no error.
I Start SAP and then execute R3trans -d and got a error ORA-12537: TNS:connection closed.
When i connect to SQLPLUS and try to execute any command, a message error occured ORA-01012: not logged on.
Please, can any one help me?
My system is AIX with Oracle 10.2.0.5
Thanks everyone. Problem solve.
The problem was my spfile from oracle. The oracle did not read correct the file.
I change de file and reestart oracle than works.
Thanks.

From where do you execute R3trans -d ?
Can you double check you system profiles and env variables for sidadm and orasid ?
Can you provide me the last few lines of alert logs and trans.log

Hi ,
Please check if your profile directory has a directory named 'oracle' . Please also ensure that the tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora maintained within the folder are correct.
It could also be that the shared memory segments were not released the last time instance was shut down .
If possible , you can try shutting down database and SAP , clean the shared memory (using cleanipc and validate using ipcs ) , check and kill if any stale processes are found using ps -aef or fuser .
Try to Start DB and SAP after this .

Suneeth

Hi Anderson,
Please check if the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID are set appropriately.
For the error ORA-12537 & ORA-01012, please check if there is any error in Alert Log file.
If possible try to restart the database services individually and make sure all the database services are killed before that and if it starts check R3trans again. And check if TNS listener is started well before Oracle.
Since you are doing the refresh, it might not be difficult for you to restart the services, I believe.
Let us know if you see any error in alert log or otherwise.

Could you supply the last few lines of the alert log when you get this error?
What is the version of the source database?
After the DB restore what actions were done on the system?
