Navigational Attribute doesn't show in Bex Analyzer

Hi

For 0MAT_SALES i have add new attribute 0MAT_KONDM (Mat pricing grp), and i selected under MP ABCD and underlying cubes as well.

I have created a Query on MP ABCD and using 0MAT_SALES__0MAT_KONDM as free characteristic.

Data is not coming for the New Navigational attribute either BEx Analyzer or RSRT. But for the same Input selection i can see LISTCUBE (ABCD).

Please provide your valuable inputs.

Hi NAresh,

You have several things to check. First check if you have uploaded the data for the new attribute. Make sure that you have activated the master data. Make sure that there is related data for those matrials existing in the infocubes of mp. Check the data of mp by right clicking on it. Do you see the data there? And finally check how you have assigned material in the mp. Is it assigned correctly to the characteristics in the infocubes.

Hope it igives an idea to detect the problem.

Hi,

First initial report output are you able to see the data.

if yes then later you can navigate on free char - 0MAT_SALES__0MAT_KONDM and see the data.

Have you restricted any values to your navigational attribute?

Thru RSRT can you regenerate your report and see the data.

Even try to run attribute change run as well.

Have you ran ACR?

Hi Ram,

I can see the output of the Query, i cannot see data for 0MAT_SALES__0MAT_KONDM after navigating.

There is no restriction on the Nav attibute.

I have Generated the query in RSRT, but still no use.

The Material is in Active Version and we can see in the MP for the Nav attribute, so no issues with ACR.

Thru LISTCUBE are you able to see the data for your navigational attribute?

Are you missing whole column data for your navigational or particular record only?

Can you share  LISTCUBE data and report out of same data.

There might be Conditions /Filters restricting data  try to run query with out applying filters and conditions .

Above screen shot is from List cube, in the Query i have only 3 fields 0MAT_SALES, and the Navigational attribute.

I have filtered only Material in the report.

Select key and text display for material pricing grp at BEx level and see if you get the desired value SV or not.

Just remove all filters/restrictions.and try to see the data for material - 086L0003 at report level.

at rows, material-->restrict to 086L0003 and see.

Hi,

Its because of compounding for Material Sales View, i have Source system, Sales Org, Division Channel are the Compounding for Material.

For the same Values i can see Mat Pricing Grp in MP but not in the report.

Still it is not showing after changing from text to key.

Hi Naresh,

I think material sales view also has a compounding not included in the multiprovider or query. In your previous post in the image I can see that its value is 00/086L003. Please check that if your master data has a value for compounding characteristic as 00 value.

As said previously , Source system, Sales Org, Division Channel are the Compounding for Material.

0MAT_SALES in SE16.

For source system id you have chose display as key or text because the value is not matching with the mutlicube value.Please check in case you have selected display as key.

Hi all,

I found after doing small changes, if we change the setting for Main 0MAT_SALES Infoobject as Master Data in Under Extended tab. then it is working fine.

But by default we need to select Posted Values only. Is there any problem if we select Master data.

Hi,

Have you marked navigation attribute settings properly at info object level and cube/dso level.

Multi provider level also.

have you selected proper identification?

Re do navigational settings  mark at multi provider level and save,activate MP.

if you done all above setting properly then try run attribute change run for your primary info object and later you can run report.
