UPDATE STATS FAILING

Hello ,

UPDATE STATS is getting failed in our ECC 6.0 system from the last 10 days.

Please find the screenshots attached of the BR* permissions and DB13 error occured.

Our  br* authorisations are changed as per note 113747.

Please help!

Hello all,

1.) The authorisations are changed for br* as per the note 113747. and was reexecuted sa per plan daily at 10:00 AM CET. It was successful for a day and again it is failing daily.

2.) Please find the screenshot below - rsh hostname from CI as SIDadm to the dbhost

3.) I found a reply "Is sapxpg set to run on "Explicit Host" ?" regarding the same isssue in another post. What does this mean?

4.)Can some one explain Point : 06 in Reason and prerequisites in the note : 446172.

It looks , in a way our issue is related to Gateway.

Also , i need to understand point : 6 if some one can help me.

Our system is SAP ECC 6.0 on DB - Oracle 11.2.0.3.0 and OS- LINUX.

Many entries in dev_rd -

Could you share the kernel version & release ? If it is low, kindly upgrade the kernel & DBSL patch.

Please ask your OS team to configure SSH to db host with sidadm with out any password.

446172 - SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE (program_start_error) in DB13

1914589 - SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE failed when start job from DB13/DBACOCKPIT

583759 - R/3 error when you start jobs from DB13

Could please run the update stats with the User who is having full permission in SAP(SAP_ALL) and check i hope it is a authorization issue.

The status says "scheduling failed". You should check the background job log to understand what the reason behind the failure.

Hi Uday,

Permissions, owner and group is what you should correct, if not correctly set. Other things is, check the logs to see where failure has occurred.
