Hi,
I am transporting the content from dev to qa. I was looking into pcdstartup.properties.. found a couple which i didnt understand.
1. Pcd.TransportApplication.Export.ExcludeSystemObjects
in doc, it is said that it decides whether or not the objects in the SAP namespace initially delivered by SAP are excluded from the export.
but the property
Pcd.TransportApplication.ProtectedNamespaces already provides that, i.e. this already avoids the exporting of portal content in com.sap namespace.
could someone please distingush between these two,
2. Pcd.TransportApplication.Export.ExcludeObjectTypes
AfterRuleProcessing
and Pcd.TransportApplication.Export.
ExcludeObjectTypes
the difference would be transporitng resource bundles, but why would someone just transport resource bundles in a par file, without transporting the actual par file.
could some please clarify this to me
thank you
hi
You can only export resource bundles if you have write permission for these objects. You can find resource bundles in the Portal Catalog by calling them with System Administration ® Permissions. All administrators other than the superadministrator can access the folder for the resource bundles as read-only in the standard delivery.
