Hi All,

The business requirement is not to carry out availability Check in Sales order but transfer of requirement is possible.
Standard availability check 'KP' does not allow availability check but also does not transfer the requirement to MD04. Please help me to understand that whether its possible to not carry out availability check but requirement is transferred.

Thanks.

HI Sarita,

In Av check there are two check which happens golbally and locally

1. Av check

2. Transfer of requirements

You can controll the above globally at requirement class level which is tied to req. type determined using MRP type + Item cat in TOR config

Else

Locally you can control using sch line cat level which Gina has mentioned.

in standard locally if want to only TOR use can use sch line cat = L1 or L2

Check configuration settings on the sales order schedule line level - there are checkboxes within there that allow this flexibility.

In SPRO:  Sales and Distribution --> Sales --> Sales Documents --> Schedule Lines --> Define Schedule Line Categories

The first checkbox passes requirements to MRP/MD04

The second checkbox controls whether Availability is done or not.
