Hello all,

simple question about discussion thread.  Is somebody can explain me why I don't see my disucssion thread when I write the EXACT title name in the Search the community box (right top) of this site.

My thread is : http://scn.sap.com/thread/3640846

Title is : Dashboard sizing recommandation

Space : BI Platform

The only way I can find it is when I go to BROWSE - CONTENT - AUTHORED.

It's not the first time but if this happen to other one, it could be good to know why ?

Hope you see this one

Thanks in advance.

Well this discussion is available in Google search. As well as in Google Custom Search- SAP Community Network Search

I think SCN search option is not working properly again.

And the link (provided by jurgen sir) is not known to all.. You can have a look into the discussion for more about this link

The site search indexing client must be broken (again).  <<sigh>>  I'll report this to the team managing.

A Dibyendu mentioned, there's another option, including the secret (Shhhh!) search Jurgen mentioned.

You should see your thread in search results now: we gave the indexing client a kick.

Just to close the discussion...or NOT !

Thank you for your answer, at least I understand.  And the answer is less problematic then I was thinking at first.  If people can't search it for couple of days or weeks, I can deal with it.

What I will suppose now, is my thread is send to people in the feed.  I mean, the view count seem to indicate people see my discussion.  This is my reel concern.  I want answer to my question not in 3 weeks

With that said, when I select BI Platform (my discussion topic), just scroll from last insert date.  That's weird too.

I will double check to be sure what I said is true.

People also follow tags so may you should add a few relevant to the topic of your thread.

I do not know how often the content is indexed, but I just checked MM content and saw that I can get only threads from October 15 and older

You can find your discussion with the alternative search http://scn.sap.com/search.jspa
