Config Validation for Internal Order / Cost Center

  Dear All,

I had an Internal Order, when I settle IO to Cost Center. I got 2 messages :

1. GL Account XXX Required Assignment to a CO Object.

2. GL Account XXX does not allow to post to Cost Center

I guess two message come from validation. I check OB28 and try with simulate function. I found nothing , 7 rule false and 2 rule true-true --> it's mean no error.

I don't know why. Could you please help to explain why system pop up error message ?

HI,

These two errors were probably due to following reasons, before checking the validation please pay attention to below areas '

Error 1 : Check your settlement rule. If the CTR is defined as rule check whether there is a default cost center or whether the % rule is defined correctly

Error 2: Missing filed status config for the GL account. Cost Center filed has to be optional

Please check these settings and let me know the status.

Dear All,

After debugging, I found the reason. My order has 2 settlement rule, one rule is not used any more and issue came from that issue.

Hi,

Check the field status of the GL, the cost centre field might be suppressed. Make it as optional.

Dear you!

I think your problem involve to the configuration for GL account.

I think you created cost element for GL account. But in the configuration of Field status for the GL, you are setting for the GL is suppress with field cost center.

I think you should check configuration for the GL with field status further.

I hope it will help you.

Create cost element for that GL. I think that is missing
