Hi Experts,

I've a senario where I've three Custom Business Objects, all having association with Customer. Now in Customer Thing Inspector I need to create New Tab(for showing data of all the three Business Object in three different table view), in this Tab I need the Tab Strip.

In the Tab Strip , three tab will be there and each tab of the Tab Strip will show one of the Business Object data in Table View format( Advance List Pane ).

I'll be really greatful if anyone can give me detail steps so that I can create this scenario.

Regards

Hello Naburan,

What about defining an Embedded Component with your TabStrips for your 3 Custom BOs?

As a starter on how to bind the EC to the Customer TI have a look into this How-To from alessandro.iannacci.

Hi Horst,

I've tried to define an EC with tabstrips and bind more than one custom BO to each tab, but the data model requires only one root node and this must be bound to one and only BO, otherwise you get a runtime error 'Invalid data model'.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Giorgio

Hello Giorgio,

As you already detected you can bind only one CBO to a root node.

The idea was to have e.g. 3 tabstrips and bind a CBO to each tab.
So you can overcome this restriction.

Of course, you need to navigate from tab to tab to see the other CBO data.
