Customer is having seibel System .They want certain transactions related to opertunity's data to be displayed in portal using XI.Now i need to configure seibel with XI and from XI to EP.we tought to use iway seibel adapter from seible to XI.but it is very expensive,so customer is not interested.then we are planning to use HTTP or any adapter which caters customers need.then from XI to EP we want to expose as webservice and write a webdynpro apllication which consumes webservice from XI and display it as iveiw.we would like to know is there any other good approach or easy to implement this senario
the approach to the scenario by usign http adapter instead of iWay is correct , as we executed one of our POCs with siebel similar way and exposed as webservices as u have defined. Everything worked fine. Its always advisable that we dont connect to underlying DB of siebel unless we have a compelling situation.
