no Interface Determination configured for receiver party and receiver service

I am new to PI.

The following problem I have tried googling but cannot find solution, hopefully someone here can guide me.

I have a PI scenario, which for some time has been working but for the last 2 days has stopped functioning. It is an RFC adapter type config scenario, i.e. I have my 2 business systems, sender and receiver communication channels, a receiver determination, sender agreement and receiver agreement.

In sxi_monitor there is a long error message… I am not sure exactly which part of this message to post here but it looks to me as if this is the most important parts:

There is no Interface Determination configured for receiver party and receiver service BSQA_S21CLNT021

(I don’t think this can be an error, because for the Scenario it is not required to have an Interface Determination, and was working fine before)

then lower down in the error message there is:

I have also tested both Communication channels, and both are in error:

Please guide me as to where to even start looking for the error, and then of course how to fix it.

PS: The Maximum Connections of Sender communicatoin channel is 20.

Hi Glen,

Seems the RFC channel is in issue.

Is there some changes done recently in the channel?

Also please check if the User Id mentioned in the Channels is valid with proper roles.

Hi Glen,

As per your statement you have configured:

2 business systems, sender and receiver communication channels, a receiver determination, sender agreement and receiver agreement.

My question is have you not configured Interface Determination?If not then you need to configure Interface Determination step.

Hello Glen ,

Is it a certificate based authentication to the third party.

If yes , Can you please check the certificates are  up to date in PI and are not expired.
