Authorization restriction by Planner_SNP in \SAPAPO\MAT1 transaction

Hi,

We are trying to implement the authorization restriction in roles by Planner_SNP activating the authorization object C_APO_PLNR in transaction \SAPAPO\MAT1 by SU24, however after some test, we see that the filter is not working for that field only it works by location and product.

I am looking for some documentation about this but only i have found that with an enhacement this can be done by using bapi \SAPAPO\MD_CHK_AUTH, however is not clear how this badi can be implemented to enable the authorization check by Planner_SNP.

Can anyone provide a feedback?

How are you doing?

The issue are you facing is not very clear to me, but I will try to help you. Please, if you can provide more information it would be great.

As far as I can see you want to delegate who will be your person responsible by the SNP planning functions, right?

You can set up a Planner under Customizing IMG > APO > Supply Chain Planning > Specify Person Responsible (Planner). There will be able to set up a planner for the functions you want, i.e. selecting the box for SNP Planner. After it's created, you have to assign it in the product master and then assign to the users you want to have this authorization via transaction /SAPAPO/USRPLN. Once in this transacation you have to specify the user name and assign the planner you have created to this user.
