Channel Availability Planning vs Poll Interval in SAP PI 7.4

Hey Experts,

we have a requirement of scheduling the JDBC and FILE communication channels in PI 7.4 Dual stack with ICO.

Requirements are like, Schedule the channels with 1 Hr period, shift (8 hrs) for 24*7*365.

Can we achieve this with Channel availability planning !! and suggest the best approach !!.

Hi RK,

Best approach is to go with the availability planning for one hour every 8 hrs shift so, you need to create 3 availability schedules

example:

1)00:00:00 to 01:00:00

2)08:00:00 to 09:00:00

3)16:00:00 to 17:00:00
