Hi Bose ,

Are you getting any error .Can you post screenshot of issue .

Use the object as prompt in the webi report to check whether the object holds any values are not.

create a new report on same query and check in the set Variables of webi query panel whether LOV's are populating .

Please find my issue description in more detail 1)Source for my BO Report is BEx query. 2)I have designed OLAP Connection using BICS in IDT tool 2)BEx query has a variable which is mandatory runs fine in Bex anzlyzer 3)As mandatory Variable in BEx query converts into mandatory Prompt it   BO I am supposed to enter a value from the list or manually 4)As of now its not allowing me to manually enter value for this prompt   not its displaying as List of values coming from BEx Please suggest Regards Bose

Hello Bose

Are you able to see the list of values in the Prompts created as mandatory variable in BEX while running WEBI reports..

I tried it out in 4.0 version and 4.1 SP01 version but i was not able to .. Kindly confirm the same..

Or if any workaround done kindly let me know..

Many thanks

Hi Bose,

Try the below and let me know.

If you use Prompt:

Uncheck "Keep last values selected" in prompt properties and now LOV's would be displayed automatically.

If you use Value(s) from List:

Check "Match Case", "Search in Keys" and "Search in Database" and give * to get list of values.

Your creating a prompt in universe based on list of values else in query filters. If it's in query filters are you prompting and enabled the option to show lov's?
