History not working in SAP GUI for Java

Hi Rolf-Martin,

I'm using the SAP GUI Java since 7.30. And I'm very happy with it.

The only thing that I realy miss is the smart input/value help like SAP GUI Windows has.

Every time I go to SE37 or SE11 I have to know the full name of my objects.

Do I have to set some value in preferences to get this feature in SAP GUI Java?

Hello Jürgen,

in case you are relating to the history feature, this exists also in SAP GUI for Java.

For this, it needs to be enabled in preferences, and the connection needs to be set to send field names for all the dynpro elements. Latter is not the case, when the option "low speed connection" is active the the connection currently used. So, indeed Alejandro suggestion might help.

We had the same problem and found the note 161053. Maybe it could be the problem.
