Hi All,
I know this has been discussed many times in this forum. And it is a very basic question. But for the life of me I cannot figure out what is wrong.
I have defined a new plant and have created PO document types for it and assigned number ranges. Now I have checked NACE , EF and I have condition records defined for NEU (print) and ZNEU (fax).
I also have defined the print parameters in MN04. Even after all this the output type does not appear automatically when i create a PO. It always says 'no messages issued'. I always have to put it in manually.
For all other PO document types this comes up automatically, except for the new document type that i created. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi Deepak
Please check you have followed all steps required for output determination. please refer Message determination in Purchasing - ERP SCM - SCN Wiki

Hi Jagdeep,
Thank you for the document. But I have all output types and access sequence defined in the system. As i said output type NEU is working for other PO document types. It is proposing the output automatically when I create a PO. But for my new document type it is not. I have to put it in manually. I have maintained condition records in MN04, but not working yet.
Thanks,
Deepak.
Hi
Can you check that your entry available in NACH table. Also go to your purchase order and try to do analysis on condition type--> Click on Messages -->Click on Goto--> Determination Analysis, Can you see the condition record you created in MN05 for given document type ? please post the screen shot
Thanks,
Jagdeep
Now, look at your PO header, Partners tab, do you see partner function BA available in the partners tab ?? if no then partner function is missing in your vendor master. let me know and Table name in NACH, you can go to SE16N T-code and check the table. Also are trying output trigger for partner function BA or something else ?
Thanks,
Jagdeep

Hi Jagdeep,
Thanks a lot. It works now. The key was your suggestion to do the determination analysis. In partner determination (SPRO), partner schemas were not assigned to my document types.
Guess this is what happens when you create a new document type by copying an existing one.
Thanks again,
Deepak.
HHi Deepak,
have you applied release strategy for this...if yes, try to release the strategy in me29n, and try.
regards
kiran
