Error in value mapping replication service

Hello Experts,

I am having trouble while using Value mapping replication standard service in PI 7.4 (java only). I tried both synchronous and Asynchronous scenarios but I get below error -

Delivery of the message to the application using connection JPR failed, due to :com.sap.engine.intrefaces.messaging.api.exception.messagingException:Error processing inbound message Exception:eRROR WHILE PROCESSING REQUES

I could see that outbound message is successful but inbound message is scheduled and eventually errors out.

I have registerd Java inbound proxies as well. Could you please help me out here?

Forgot to add communication type here..At sender side , I have file adapter and receiver is SOAP (since java only)

is there any configuration missing in the the scenario?

I am usning below configuration in SOAP adapter -

Adapter type - SOAP

Pransport protocol - HTTP

Message Protocol - XI 3.0

SOAP URL -      http://<host>:<port>/MessagingSystem/receive/JPR/XI.
