MDM import exception

If we already have a data in some Lookup table in MDM  and if we try to Import the same data again , will it throw a  Import Exception ?

Hi Dibya,

Please note the preexisting value will be mapped automatically instead of getting fail,  Kindly refer Import Manger reference guide for more information related to Value mapping.

Hi Rahul ,

In Import Status I am getting status as Action : Map 'HouseBanksCompanyCode<HouseBanks>[Partition]' Feild values .

Can u explain this why it is getting ?

Hi Dibya,

That mean values under field HouseBanksCompanyCode is not mapped so u need to go back to Map Field/Values Tab and choose values of the appropriate Field and choose the Automap option or manual map option as per to map the source fields with destination fields. Then import the data's.
