Inbound delivery_How to add new PO line

Hello Experts

requirement is to add new PO lines to Inbounde delivery, i mean, not just adding the lines, PO number should also be added & shown in preceding data tab, like, how the data looks when inbound delivery is created wrt PO in VL31N.

is there way to do this?

bottom line is, need to add or combine additonal PO in Inbound delivery which is already created with one different PO.

please let me know your thoughts.

Best practice is to delete the existing inbound delivery....Add the new line item in the PO .....Create a new inbound delivery which will have all the line item

You cannot just add the new line item in Inbound delivery with reference to purchase order (where the same line item is missing in purchase order)

   You can not add new PO item to an inbound delivery. The functionality is not available. Please refer the note: 575770 - Purchase order item cannot be added into inbound delivery which explains the design.

Hi,

Saying that you can not add an additional line to an existing inbound delivery is not 100% correct. With VL32N it's indeed not possible to add this line however if you have the automotive solution on your system or you have the service parts management active one can use VL60 or BORGR transaction to accomplish the requirement of adding an additional line to an inbound delivery.
