Placing excel.csv file from one path to other only through ID.

Hi,

This is a file to file scenario where an excel.csv file have to be placed in another file path without any changes.

Working only in ID without IR as there are no changes/mapping.

Do we need to use FCC here or is there any other way?

Hi Poorna,

Since this is just a File to File Pick and place transfer (without any Mapping or changes in content), you don't even need to create ESR objects nor FCC.

In ID you can use some Dummy Sender Interface , namespace to create your ICO / Configurations (keep the Source SWCV field Blank in ICO).

In Interface Determination, don't provide any Operation Mapping name, just add a Dummy Receiver Interface Name & namespace values.

You don't need to do FCC in channels. Just pick the file from the Source Dir using File Adapter Sender Channel and place in Target Directory using Receiver File Adapter Channel.

As mentioned by Azhar FCC is not needed. I recently tried a similar scenario, which is working fine without FCC.
