Installed PL14 but Client not updating

Help!

I'm unable to update my client machine.  I do not get any error messages.  See below for what I did......

First let me list my steps:

1) installed patch level 12 but did not update clients.

2) I decided why not install patch level 14 and then update the Clients.

3) Installed PL14

4) Signed on to SAP on my machine (we're still using the laptop as the server) and this message popped up:

Your software version is not updated.

SAP Business One will be shut down in order to perform automatic upgrade.

SAP Business One will be restarted after the upgrade is completed.

There were no other messages and it shut down but didn't update or restart.

I ran as administrator and I removed firewall but still getting the same response.

Hi Lori

Uninstall client then install new version from B1_SHR. After uninstall you may want to remove folder of the previous version and remove any temp files related to B1, clean the registry and reboot.
